SUSTAINABLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

Achieving economic growth ans sustainable development requires that we urgently reduce our ecological footprintby changing the way we produce and consume our resources. A large part of the world's population continues to consum very little to meet even their basic needs, and we must follow their example.

Every year 1⁄3 of the food produced ends up in garbage cans or spoiled in transportation and faulty collection practices. If everyone changed their light bulbs to energy efficient ones, it would save US $ 120 billion a year. In the event that the population of 2050 reaches 9600 million people, it would take almost 3 planets so that the necessary natural situations are the same as the actual ones.
